Miranda – “One for the History Books”

When Miranda told us he had decided to retire from football at the end of 2022, we had to think carefully about how to create something worthy of one of the greatest defenders we have ever seen play, and to communicate this moment with the grandeur it deserved. 

The retirement announcement involved the production of a main video, along with the creation of social media assets and PR efforts to ensure the widest and most impactful reach possible. 

The video was produced by LIGA in a studio and featured Miranda wearing every jersey he represented throughout his career, revisiting key chapters of his life. Two framed pieces were also created and later gifted to Miranda, allowing him to look back and reflect on his own legacy in front of the cameras. 

The content published on social media reached more than 4 million direct views, and the PR work also ensured that the video was broadcast on Brazil’s leading free-to-air and pay-TV channels.
