For Corinthians fans, this is one of the most important dates in the club’s history. It was on this day in 2012 that Corinthians conquered South America against Boca Juniors, in an unforgettable night at Pacaembu.
Thirteen years later, the reunion happened. And LIGA was there.
Our client Fábio Santos — a starter in that final and an idol for the Fiel — was one of the protagonists of the friendly match that reunited historic squads of Corinthians and Boca Juniors at the newly inaugurated Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu. A celebration filled with nostalgia, joy and, of course, great content.
We produced a series of special pieces to mark the occasion. It began by revisiting the significance of the date and Fábio’s role in the title run. Then, we went behind the scenes, showing the former left-back strictly following his rituals and superstitions before yet another match. And finally, we captured the reunion itself — and how destiny added its final touch: a goal by Fábio Santos and Pacaembu vibrating just like it did thirteen years earlier.
